MEMBERSHIP
Is your membership up to date?  Yearly fees are due July 1^st of each year and run through June 30^th of the following year.  Wixom and Walled Lake Taxpayers pay $5 and for everyone else the fee is $10.

VAN TRANSPORTATION SERVICE
The City of Wixom sponsors a van program for Wixom Seniors who are unable to drive to appointments, shopping areas and grocery stores.  Call the Wixom Senior Center at (248) 624-0870 to obtain your cab card and fee schedule, then call Always from the Heart at (248) 363-6033 to make your ride reservation.

 COMPUTER TUTOR
Our tutor is available on Monday and Wednesday in the senior lounge.  The private lessons cost $2 for each half hour.  You will learn basic computer techniques, how to search the internet, make mailing labels, type letters and envelopes and you will even be able to set up an email address to receive mail from your friends and family.  Call (248) 624-0870 to set up an appointment.

LOAN CLOSET
If you are in need of any special health equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs and crutches the Wixom Senior Center has some of these items available in our loan closet.  Although there is no charge to use these items, we do ask you return them to us clean.  Please call 248-624-0870.

HOMEBOUND MEAL DELIVERY
Meals on Wheels for senior shut-ins, call Mercy Services at (248) 473-1812.

Brown Bag, Bingo & Birthday.  Bring a sack lunch, celebrate the monthly birthdays and stay for an afternoon of bingo.

Medicare News! Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage Starting January 1, 2006 if you have Medicare you will be able to get prescription drug coverage. If you want to learn more call Gloria, Senior Coordinator at our Senior Center 248-624-2850.
