The City offers public assistance programs listed below through Community Block Grant Program (CDBG) to provide funds for the benefit of low and moderate income people for public and emergency services.

HAVEN offers counseling and education that help families stop the violence, begin the process of healing, and create the hope that their future will be free of abuse.

Their mission is to strengthen youth and families through volunteer services. Program provides counseling services at no charge for youth, family and youth educational programs, camp scholarships, skill building scholarships, Youth Recognition, Adopt-a-Family, mentoring, Shop With a Cop and more.
