The City of Wixom contracts residential solid waste/yard waste/and recycling through Waste Management. There are certain rules and regulations that need to be followed when placing your waste curbside. Curbside guidelines

The City of Wixom DPW hosts a Household Hazardous Waste Day (HHWD) yearly for our residents. Generally our HHWD is the first event and takes place in April.  (Click here for schedule and additional items)

HHWD allows residents to bring chemicals, oil based paints and a variety of other toxic products for disposal at no charge! We now even include paper shredding.  

The City of Wixom is part of the RRRASOC community, so though the City of Wixom DPW hosts a HHWD there are several others that you can attend at no charge!
