Department of Public
Services
The primary charge of the Department of Public Services is
the improvement, expansion, and operation of the City’s infrastructure
components including roads, non-motorized pathways, water system, wastewater
collection system and the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Department of Public
Services provides technical assistance to various departments throughout the
City in addition to coordinating and providing general oversight of the Building
and Public Works Departments. Additionally, the department assists the Downtown
Development
Authority and through the Building Department, the Zoning Board of Appeals and
the Planning Commission.
