VOTER REGISTRATION In order to be eligible to vote, you must be registered at least 30 days prior to Election Day. If you reside within the City of Wixom and are not currently registered to vote in our jurisdiction, you can use one of the following options to register. These options can be used to change your address as well if you are currently registered in Wixom and have moved within the City. In Person:

Worth Noting: - A person who registers to vote by mail is required to vote in person the first time unless they are at least 60 years of age or are handicapped. (This vote-in-person requirement that’s associated with the mail-in registration would not apply if you have previously voted in person in the city or township where you live.) - When your voter registration is entered in the Michigan Qualified Voter File, your address on your Michigan driver’s license will be changed as well. Additional information on elections and voting is available at the Secretary of State’s web page ( www.michigan.gov/sos). This page also contains a guide to voting systems that allows voters to select the voting system in use in their community and view a short video on the use of the system and directions on how to cast a ballot. In the City of Wixom, the M100 voting system is used to tabulate ballots.
