RENEWABLE ENERGY PARK STATE ACTION COMPLETED

October 6, 2009 legislation was signed by Governor Granholm establishing a fifth Michigan renewable energy tax credit.  The bill gives tax credits totaling $100 million which can be used once production begins in 2012. Read More

 

CITY OF WIXOM BOND REFINANCING SAVES OVER $167,200

The City of Wixom today announced that through refinancing of $3,265,000 of bonded indebtedness, the City will realize a net savings of over $167,200 in the next 5.5 years. Read more  Moody's Investors Service Report.

Wixom to Washington
The Mayor and City Manager have been working with a coalition of Mayors and other City Managers from in and around the nation to secure monies to assist in the immediate redevelopment of the closed automotive properties and in particular the Wixom Ford Assembly Plant.
